How do I update or change my personal information?

Address Change

There are three ways to change the address on your account:

  1. Visit the secure Account Access section of our site to change it online
  2. Call 800-225-5478 to speak with an Investor Service Representative
  3. Send us a letter of instruction, signed by all account owners, listing the account number(s) you want to update with your new address
What is a Medallion Signature Guarantee?
Any "eligible" guarantor may sign a medallion signature guarantee. Eligible guarantors include Commercial Banks, Trust Companies, Savings Associations and Credit Unions defined by the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Also included are registered broker dealers and member firms of a domestic stock exchange. You should verify with the institution that they are an acceptable (eligible) guarantor prior to signing. A Notary Public is not acceptable.
* Please be advised that when updating your address of record without a medallion signature guarantee, there will be a 30-day hold on your account for all redemptions by check for security purposes.

Changing your Name on your Account

Send a letter of instruction signed with both your old name and new name. This letter must have a medallion signature guarantee.

*These requirements are for Individual, Joint and IRA accounts. If you do not have one of these accounts and want change your name, please contact us directly for further information.

Power of Attorney

To be listed on the account registration as Power of Attorney, complete a Natixis Funds Durable Power of Attorney form. All sections must be completed and notarized as indicated on the form.

An outside Power of Attorney document may be used; however it can only be used for a one-time transaction. The Power of Attorney document must be an original, or a copy certified within 60 days of the request. The request must be submitted in a letter of instruction signed by the Attorney-in-Fact whose signature must be medallion signature guaranteed. A new Power of Attorney document and letter of instruction must be submitted with each request.

Please note that an outside Power of Attorney document will not allow someone to act on an account over the phone. To act over the phone, the Attorney-in-Fact must be listed on the account registration.

How do I add, remove or change account owners?

What is a Medallion Signature Guarantee?
Any "eligible" guarantor may sign a medallion signature guarantee. Eligible guarantors include Commercial Banks, Trust Companies, Savings Associations and Credit Unions defined by the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. Also included are registered broker dealers and member firms of a domestic stock exchange. You should verify with the institution that they are an acceptable (eligible) guarantor prior to signing. A Notary Public is not acceptable.
Send a letter of instruction, signed by all existing holders of the account, medallion signature guaranteed along with a New Account Application completed as you would like the account to be registered. Sign the letter of instruction in the exact name(s) in which the shares are registered and any special capacity in which you are signing (such as trustee, custodian or on behalf of a partnership, corporation, or other entity).

Changing the Registration due to Age of Majority

In order to transfer a custodial account to the former minor once the age of majority has been reached, the custodian must send in a letter of instruction stating they wish to resign as custodian. This letter must be medallion signature guaranteed. Also a New Account Application completed in the name of the former minor should be submitted with the letter..

Changing the Registration due to Death

How can I add or change a beneficiary on an account?

To add or change a beneficiary on an account please complete and send a Beneficiary Designation form for an IRA account or a Transfer on Death form for an Individual account.

How do I purchase, exchange or sell shares from my account?

Online

Visit the secure Account Access section of our site. After logging in, click on the Buy, Sell or Exchange button next to the account in which you want to process a transaction. Follow the instructions listed on the subsequent screens.

By phone

Call 1-800-225-5478 to speak to an Investor Services Representative for help with buying, selling or exchanging shares on your account. Investor Service Representatives are available to assist you Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST.

By mail

Mail the request to:

Purchasing Shares
Complete the add-on slip attached at the end of your quarterly statement and mail it, along with your check, to us. For retirement accounts, indicate on the slip which type of contribution you're making and the contribution year. A letter can also be mailed, along with your check, outlining which fund and account the monies should be purchased into. Again, for retirement accounts please indicate which type of contribution you are making and for which contribution year.

Selling Shares
Send a letter of instruction: Indicate your name, the name of the Fund and the account number from which you wish to redeem shares. Specify the number of shares or dollar amount to be redeemed and provide signatures by all account owners exactly as their names appear on the account registration.

Exchanging Shares
Send a letter of instruction: Indicate your name, the name of the Fund and the account number from which you wish to redeem shares, and the name of the Fund and the account number into which you wish to buy shares. Specify the number of shares or dollar amount you wish to exchange and provide signatures of all account owners exactly as their names appear on the account registration.

How can I update or change my automatic investment plan or withdrawal plan?

Online

Visit the secure Account Access section of our site. After logging in, click on Add or Update Investment Builder or Systematic Withdrawal from the dropdown menu next to the appropriate account. Follow the directions listed on the page to setup or change your Investment Builder or Systematic Withdrawal. Your request will be verified for you. If all information is correct please click "Continue" to process your order.

By mail

Please complete the appropriate section of the Natixis Funds Service Options Form when you want to add, change or update your Investment Builder or Systematic Withdrawal on your account(s). Please mail the form to the address listed on the top of the form in order for it to be processed.

How can I have a check made payable to someone other than myself?

Send a signed letter of instruction, medallion signature guaranteed. List the account number and number of shares or dollar amount to be redeemed. Include the address and the party to whom the check should be made payable.

How can I view my tax information online to see if I should be receiving any 1099 forms?

Log into the secure Account Access section of our site and click on Tax Forms from the dropdown menu next to the account for which you want to view Tax Information. Choose the tax form you would like to view or reorder. If the option to View Tax Information does not appear in the dropdown menu, no tax forms were generated that year on that particular account.

How can I contact someone if I am having a problem with my account?

How can I contact my Financial Advisor?

Please be advised that if you would like to contact your Financial Advisor you must call them directly. We are happy to provide you with their telephone number, but are unable to forward any account specific information or transaction requests.

How do I create, change or reset my PIN?

Visit the secure Account Access section of our site. First, enter your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number, then click on options to create, change or reset your PIN. You will need to enter one of your account numbers in order to establish a PIN.
