Founded by Thomas L. Hansberger, the firm applies a fully integrated, disciplined investment process to global investments, separate account portfolios, institutional and retail mutual funds. The company follows global investment markets through satellite offices in Hong Kong, Toronto, Mumbai and Moscow.

Trevor Graham, CFA

Mr. Graham joined HGI in September, 2004 as a Vice President in research. Mr. Graham started in the industry as an associate quantitative analyst for Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd. in 1996. After helping to manage an active country – passive stock non-north American equity portfolio for four years, he aided in the transformation of the portfolio into a fully active stock fund in December of 2000. At this stage, he continued on the non-north American equity team as a fundamental analyst covering the sectors of energy, utilities, basic materials and industrials. In 2001, he also assumed coverage of the U.S. equity market and had global (ex Canada) sector responsibilities. The team managed $3.5 billion.
Mr. Graham holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Finance from the University of Victoria. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
Ronald Holt, CFA

Mr. Holt serves as CEO and Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Value team. He joined HGI in 1997. Prior to assuming the role of President, he was a Senior Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Mr. Holt previously worked at Merrill Lynch.
Mr. Holt received an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia University. He started his investment career in 1991 and is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Barry A. Lockhart, CFA
Portfolio Manager, Senior Vice President – Research

Mr. Lockhart started in the investment industry in 1989 as an investment analyst dealing with U.S. equities. Prior to joining HGI in 1999, he joined Canada Life Investment Management as a senior investment analyst with responsibilities in the U.S., Far East, European and Latin American equity markets. In 1997, Mr. Lockhart joined Indago Capital Management as a portfolio manager of foreign equities. He was part of a team that managed approximately $2 billion. He joined HGI in 1999 and is now the Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management & Research.
Mr. Lockhart received his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from McMaster University and his Bachelor of Commerce with honors from McMaster University. He is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
Lauretta Reeves, CFA
Portfolio Manager, Co-Chief Investment Officer – Value Team

Ms. Reeves is the Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Value team at HGI. She joined HGI in 1996. She is also a Portfolio Manager and Senior Research Analyst. Prior to joining HGI in 1996, Ms. Reeves was Senior Vice President at Templeton Investment Counsel, Inc. where she was in the research and portfolio management group. She was also portfolio manager for several separate accounts and mutual funds which in total exceeded $1 billion of assets. As part of the portfolio management team, she held primary responsibility for numerous industries and countries.
Ms. Reeves received her MBA from Nova-Southeastern University and her undergraduate degree in business management from Florida International University. Ms. Reeves started her investment career in 1981 and is a CFA charter holder and member of the CFA Institute.
Patrick H. Tan
Portfolio Manager, Vice President – Research

Mr. Tan joined HGI as a Vice President in Research in April, 1999. As a member of the global equity team, he analyzes international securities and is responsible for the management of information systems within the portfolio management process. Mr. Tan started his career in 1994 with Canada Life Investment Management. Prior to HGI, Mr. Tan has worked with Mr. Tibbles and Mr. Lockhart as a member of the global equity team at Indago Capital Management. As a global equity analyst he was responsible for quantitative analysis of portfolios, program trading, research technology, database management and performance measurement.
Mr. Tan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Toronto.
Thomas R.H. Tibbles, CFA
Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer – Growth Team & Managing Director – Canada

Mr. Tibbles joined HGI in 1999 and serves as Chief Investment Officer for HGI's International Growth strategy. In his role he is responsible for asset allocation and risk management decisions. Prior to joining HGI in 1999, Mr. Tibbles was the Head of the Global Equity Team at Indago Capital Management in Toronto, which was an affiliate of Canada Life. He began his career in the investment industry in 1988.
Mr. Tibbles holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction from the University of Toronto, Trinity College. While attending the University of Toronto, he was awarded the Martin R. Lindsay Scholarship for performance in advanced finance and a Trinity College Scholarship for overall performance. Mr. Tibbles also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
