Gateway Investment Advisers, an affiliate of Natixis Global Associates is a Cincinnati-based investment firm with a 30-year history. J. Patrick Rogers, CFA
CEO, Portfolio Manager
Gateway Fund
A 1986 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Mr. Rogers is the co-portfolio manager for Gateway's flagship mutual fund. Chief executive officer and president of the firm, he joined Gateway in 1989 after working at LaSalle National Bank's Trust Department in Chicago.
Mr. Rogers earned his M.B.A. from Xavier University.
Paul R. Stewart, CFA, CPA
CIO, Senior Vice President, Portfolio Manager
Gateway Fund
Chief investment officer and senior vice president of Gateway, Mr. Stewart joined the firm in 1995. He is co-portfolio manager for Gateway's flagship mutual fund and is responsible for managing and servicing individual client relationships including client reporting. He was previously an audit manager at Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Stewart earned his B.B.A. from Ohio University in 1988.
Michael T. Buckius, CFA
Senior Vice President, Co-portfolio Manager
Gateway Fund
Michael T. Buckius joined Gateway in 1999 and holds the positions of senior vice president and co-portfolio manager of the Gateway Fund. In addition to portfolio management, his responsibilities include trading, research and client servicing.
Prior to joining Gateway, Mr. Buckius was an equity derivative sales professional at Bear Stearns & Co. and Bankers Trust Company where he specialized in the design and implementation of hedging and monetization strategies for high-net-worth individuals and corporations. Prior to his employment in New York, Mr. Buckius held a number of option related research and trading positions at Alex. Brown & Sons Inc. in Baltimore.
Mr. Buckius holds a B.A. and M.B.A. in Finance from Loyola College in Baltimore. In addition, Mr. Buckius is a CFA charterholder.
